Hello. I moved to Madison, AL in 2008. I'm an electrical engineer with Boeing Phantom Works, and enjoy playing the banjo and fiddle. Occasionally I'll play the guitar, mandolin, viola, dobro, or even tenor banjo. I like everything from Flatt & Scruggs to Bela Fleck. If anyone is interested in playing either seriously, or just for the fun of it, let me know. I'd really like to get a regular jam session going in the Madison / Huntsville area. I like to play bluegrass, jazz, and Irish tunes. In the fall of 2010 I was introduced to a great local bass player by the name of Bob Hall. We are both classically trained musicians who love playing bluegrass. We started playing together as a duo, working on duets by Earl Scruggs & Jake Tullock, Bela Fleck & Edgar Meyer, and on several other tunes we've found that work well for these particular instruments. We are always looking to add another instrument if anyone is interested. Requirements are 1. Serious about making good music, and 2. No 'attitudes'... we prefer our rehearsals to be low stress & fun.
