Been playing since I was 10. 6th generation musician. Grew up in Surry County, played with a lot of locals, including over a decade in Benton Flippen's band. Did a few years stint in the South Carolina Broadcasters. Focusing less on "authenticity" these days, and more on expressiveness and reflection.
