Been playing music since I was 10. 6th generation musician. Raised in Surry County, NC, played with a lot of locals, including over a decade in Benton Flippen's band. Did a few years stint in the South Carolina Broadcasters. Focusing less on "authenticity" these days, and more on expressiveness and historical reflection.
