i am looking at a used Rex Fox and the saler told me that the nut has came unglued but it is ok and stayes in tune and everthing. if i buy the banjo should i reglue the nut or will it be ok the way it is?

	banjoman56 says: 3/30/2013 9:20:34 AM Personally I would want it glued down, but it takes only a small amount of glue to do the job and it's very important to get it in the proper position or you will have tuning problems.

	Geoff Stelling says: 4/1/2013 8:33:05 AM We use a couple of drops of medium super glue when we initially set the nut. I'd reglue it with either super glue or even something like white glue (Elmer's, Titebond, etc) but not any more than enough to keep the nut from moving. Make sure it is perfectly centered and bottomed out before the glue sets up and wipe off any excess before it dries. A minimal amount of glue is used so that getting the nut out is not as bad as a tooth extraction that results in lots of small pieces.
