HI all. Just bought a used 2000 Red Fox. I have only been playing for a couple of years. My Banjo Teach has been playing a Stelling for years and I have always loved it. So now his student has one. My teacher has always said the bad thing about a Stelling is if you sound bad its not the banjos fault.

	Catman says: 3/2/2013 4:52:08 AM Great choice on your Stelling Red Fox. I have a 1994 Red Fox I bought new and IMO sounds better every day. I also sent the banjo back to Geoff Stelling a few years back for some routine maintenance ( new head, new fretts, compensated nut repair, and polishing of all the metal parts) and had the banjo back within ten days and at a reasonable cost for the repairs. You can't beat a Stelling for the sound and playability and for the service provided by Geoff. Once again, congrats on your purchase.

	banjogirl1980 says: 3/21/2013 7:30:51 AM the red fox is the banjo that got me to wanting a stelling,i played one that was for sale at Galax fiddlers convention back in 2001 and i fell in love with it, i do have a stelling but not a red fox but you can bet cha i will get me a red fox some day, i am playing a walnut bellflower now.
