String gauges from RK
Does anyone know what gauge strings are shipped on the RK-36 from the factory? I just got one, and the strings seem "light", and I am getting more pick noise than usual.

I just bought a used RK36 from the classifieds. It is shipping out tomorrow. I am really looking forward to getting it! Now I need a good teacher.

Finally snagged an rk60. I am loving it.
My Gold Tone cc50rp was a great starter banjo. But this leap upward has given me a banjo with more expression capability. Just amazing. |
