Do nylguts wear out ?
I have nylguts on for 2 years, my hearing cannot tell me if their sounding different over the years. Should they be replace as steel strings are ? |

Nylagut and Bridge Slots Question
I just built a banjo uke and it has a new Grover #30 bridge with the standard slots. Do I need to widen the slots for synthetic strings?

Lemon Oil Application
If I treat my fretboard with lemon oil without removing the strings, will it have an adverse effect on the nylgut?
