NZ Banjo strings or US supplied using NZ post Youshop

OK for those of you not in the know about youshop or possibly Elderly. Elderly Instruments for strings using youshop. https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop For those of you who do not know NZ post youshop allows you to make purchases overseas that do not ship to NZ or charge high p&p charges for those that do . Eg elderly.com (p&p international from Elderly $US 10 for 2-6 weeks delivery not tracked or $US 42 Int Priority) for strings http://www.elderly.com/catalog/category/view/id/104

Say for 12 sets of strings a good old dozen ! $US 36 plus shipping to youshop address US = $US 8 total $44 at an exchange rate 0.68 = $NZ 65 plus youshop $NZ 22 p&p to NZ = $NZ 87 for 12 sets of strings.

12 sets of strings from say Rockshop (joke!) or any other outlet usually 2 sets in stock and one gauge to chose usually Medium at a cost of $13 per set = $156 a saving of $70, AND a big plus the strings of your choice !

Think I got my add-ups correct ?

	banjo_nz says: 5/10/2016 2:32:05 PM Elderly used to ship direct to NZ (12 months or more since my last order) but shipping was much less than the $30 you show using YouShop. Maybe Elderly have changed their policy.

	banjonz says: 5/10/2016 9:59:59 PM I recently put in an order to Elderly for some things (strings included). I usually opt for 'FIMS without Tracking'. I am not sure what FIM means but the total cost of shipping is only US$10 (as Steve has said). I think if they can stuff it all in a small box and you are happy to wait a few weeks or so for delivery then the cost is minimal.
