Does anyone know where I could buy a Tenor Banjo in Auckland? Or Nation wide and get it shipped? I've got my five string Taking the fifth string off back and forth between clawhammer and plectrum style, but it's definitely not ideal, and I'm snapping strings left right and center due to the constant release of tension.

Any help would be appreciated,

	banjonz says: 8/21/2012 10:28:49 PM You could use your existing banjo, tune it in 5ths like a tenor and then capo up. You could try Alistairs Music in Wellington. He always has a lot of banjos. In fact he currently has a 'genuine Kel Kroydon (made by Gibson) tenor in his store. I am not sure if it is for sale. Give him a call on 04 9174487.
	alexanderboulton says: 8/22/2012 12:51:53 PM That's what I've been doing, tuning in fifths but I'm breaking too many strings etc taking the fifth string off every time I want to play plectrum style. Thank you I will take a look!
