I was mainly wondering if anyone had a semi-decent banjo they were looking to sell. I've guided my friend to the $500 banjos on trademe, with the caveat that they're okay to learn on, but if he wants to stick with banjo he'll need to upgrade. I've also told him whatever he buys I'll need to help him set it up so it sounds right. Thanks again for your help. Dan.

I've been using a cheap one for a hack and in quarantine when I travelled. I can setup as an openback. If your friend wants to message me I can send pictures.
