In the December issue of Bluegrass Unlimited, in the Notes and Queries section there is a picture of one of Johnnies AA banjos, with "cheaters". This apparently belongs to a Richard McAnally (Tenn?). I have wondered for years who had the 5th banjo. Now we may know. Chris, Borge, Linda Slaughter, Johnnie's widow June and Richard McNally. The article also mentions the Indian banjo with an American Indian's head on the head stock. I recall when he was making that one, but I cannot recall the name of the women that has it.

	wingram77090 says: 12/15/2011 6:49:04 PM I took lessons from Johnnie 1964-1966. In addtion to getting started learning to play, I developed a great respect and affection for Johnnie and June. They lived in a small house near Herndon, VA
