Hide Head on a Piccolo, continued ...
O.K., skin is the way to go on an 8" rim, but goat? calf? possum? neighbor's loose dog? thick? thin? What things need considered while trying to decide?

Has anyone tried a hide head on a piccolo banjo? Maybe the better question is, does anyone have experience/opinions about how hide behaves on an 8" rim?
