I am trying to determine the market value of a Gold Tone OB250F banjo. I'm looking to sell it. I can find several BG250's for sale and some OB250's but not the OB250F.
My OB250F was made in January, 2000. My understanding is that this model when made has a three ply maple rim covered at the bottom like the old Special model Mastertones. It also has a bell brass tone ring.
Can anyone who is knowledgeable on these banjos provide me with additional information on my banjo. What did they sell for in the day and what do you think mine might be worth if it's in really great condition.
Also, is this model still made and if not when did Gold Tone quit making it? Thanks in advance for any input. Ken in Tennessee
