Hey folks!
I should be getting my new banjo in 2-4 weeks. It's a Deering Goodtime Classic Special. I am so excited about this. It's just the model I wanted and could afford.
Last night, I ordered two books on Amazon: 1) Complete Book of Irish & Celtic 5-String Banjo and 2) Mel Bay present Celtic Tune Encyclopedia for 5-string Banjo. Has anyone had any experience with these books? Any other books you would recommend?
Also, any other listener's of Marc Gunn's podcast, The Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, on iTunes? I think it's awesome.
