I read through the who blog and no one has mentioned a band back in the seventies.
THE SCOTTSDALE SQUIRREL BARKERS.
That band name always cracked me up.

Was trying to spell it so folks would understand it. Hard to decide. Make it sound like Vine but with a more believeable spelling. So I went with the G.I. sound G I enist. I'm glad you liked it.

Well, you done good!
Inspired me to offer
Horace Troat & the Raspies
Oh, my Gosh! We're up to NINE pages, and like the man said when the cold front hit,
and short-shorts were replaced by overcoats:
"There's no end in sight!"
(Your Gosh may vary)

Use the fourth, Luke. Use the fourth.
(Sorry, that was terrible)

Now, how about cobbling up a picture, for the album cover?

This is beginning to remind me of a topic that was on here, shortly after I signed up.
Somebody suggested a Broadway Musical version of StarWars, with a decidedly BANJO BAND flavor to it.
If memory serves, some of the names you people came up with were truly gems of the genre:
Earl Stylewalker, Mando Solo, Jabba the Flatt.
Mando solo's primitive co-pilot, Openbacca.
Obi-Wan Key O' B ( a mysterious old man who always wore his capo on the 4th fret)
Lando ClawRissian
"R2D2ner (the robot they were originally going to call "Keith")
and his gold-plated pal, whose voice was pitched in B flat, (Capo 3, play Open) or for short, C3P0
And a few others, who have faded over the years.
