When I told her of MY two ideas
Vern L. Ekwinnox & the Springers
and
Otto M. Ekwinnox & the Fall Guys, Miss Alice suggested
Sumner Solztiss & The Long Days

I remember when Vern and Otto were in the band, As the World Turns, before they had the fight over daylight savings. The soap opera of their lives would make for a good made for t.v. movie.

It just came to me when I saw "Thoughtless Followers" - I didn't copy! LOL. Glad you liked it. I love playing with words. Which brings to mind:

Took me from 4/23 until the morning of 5/13 to SUDDENLY realize why that's a funny band name.
Anybody else doesn't get the pun, look in the mirror and say it out loud, while you imagine yourself asking someone this question:
"Have you any idea why my Dixie Wrecked?"

Mike Hunt and the Furry Ones
That’s funny an’ you have to repeat it quick?..There was something like that in the movie “American Graffiti”...anyone recall? It was in the ‘Drive-in Diner’ that the waitress was asked if she would make a call out via the sound system for a name very similar to that, and as she said it she then realized exactly what she had said...An’ was aghast...
