The rain helps the grass to grow.
The rain keeps the grass too wet to mow.
Good thing I've got a mower with a mighty blade, because it looks like the grass will be awfully tall by the time it's dry enough to have a go at the lawn.
Wish I could send SOME of it to you folks in the parched areas.
