How can I search forum archives on specific message content? I'm trying to locate one of my own posts from some years ago; I don't remember the posting date (or even what year) or the subject title wording I posted under, but I do remember some of the content.

One place you can check is your home page. There's a link you can click to get into all your archived posts.

You can choose a few words that pertain to the post and see if you can find it that way.

Use Google. Describe your search as accurately as possible. Use the words or key phrases you think you wrote. Maybe even include your name or handle. THEN -- most important -- end your search with:  site:banjohangout.org

This tells Google to search here. Google in fact does a much better job of searching the Hangout archives than the Hangout's search tool does.

Thanks to Frank Eastes (Banjoy) this tip.
