One of my favorite myths, is that a death grip on the neck creates more fret wear. It's actually the opposite. This has been heavily discussed here over the years, with some of the more knowledgeable veterans agreeing that’s it’s actually a lighter touch, that creates more fret wear. The more a string vibrates against the fret, the more fret wear. This includes a light touch, slides, and hammer ons. The harder you grip the string against the fret, the less fret wear.

Make the fingerboard with a dish in it, that way it will match the sag in the bridge
now that's even easier.

Slammer!!!
The first time I met Howie Bursen, his car had broken down and he was looking for someone to fix it. (He was 500 miles from home.)
My neighbor owns an international car service, so I took Howie over there. The car was repaired, no charge for Howie. Just a favor.
What was he driving? His PORSCHE!
