Wow man! That is so cool. You know those old railroaders ate pretty good back on the caboose, cooking on that wood burning stove. I can picture my uncle Eugene doing that back in the day.

There is nothing more primal, or better tasting than food cooked over fire. I always wanted to come sit by that fireplace in your house and just smell as you cooked meat over the fire.

Debbie's grandma had a wood cook stove in Arkansas. I remember going down there and eating the best biscuits I ever had that were cooked in that wood fired oven. That stove had a reservoir for water that gave her hot water and put a little humidity in the air.

Al, I'm glad my computer has a +/zoom function.  When I first saw the ^^ pic of the wood, I wondered why it had been gift-wrapped?!?!?  crying

Is the "diesel heater" the red box?   If so, do you have a brand name or link so I can reduce my ignorance?

But, but, but, that bus looks close enough that you could just pipe the exhaust in and get some use of otherwise wasted heat. devil   ["Waste not, want not" was one of my mammy's b-i-g guiding principles.]

I hope your surgeries go well.

You got your banjos, guitars and fiddles out there. If that's what it's like to be in the dog house, I'll take it.

This reminds me of Nancy's little cabin. She used to decorate it all up for Christmas. I always looked forward to seeing Nancy's cabin decorated.
