Its all looking good to me. I am once again living in a jobsite dump for a week or so. Everything I eat is pre-cooked microwave stuff. Brad

A stir fry using the leftover roast beef, onion, mushrooms, and garden peppers. Sauce was a mixture of pre-fab teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, garlic chili paste, and rice vinegar.

I should add that I cooked the individual vegetables separately, as I've had issues in the past with things cooking at different speeds, the mushrooms making everything soggy, and so on. And I added the meat at the very last minute so as not to overcook it.

Soon as I saw the roast, I was dreaming of leftovers in Fajitas. Nothing quite so colorful as your treat.
I've that for Fried Rice. Microwave the tough stuff like carrot and yam.

Greek chicken and saffron rice. All the rest into a big batch of fried rice tomorrow.

This lunchtime I had haricot beans in a tomato reduction, served on a crouton

That looks pretty good to me.

Thinking today's lunch might be Beans & Franks over toast with a splash of hot sauce and some roasted vegetables!

We have our first cool front (not cold, just cool) and temps at mid 50s, going up to mid 70s. My mind went immediately to chili. Have put some hamburger meat out and that's what I'll have for supper: chili with toppings of onions and cheese and Fritos.

The leaves that haven't fallen on the ground are colored up. All we need is a good wind to strip them all. Still, mid 60's, dry and calm.
I need hot food.
Tray of chicken breasts, half done with original Shake 'n Bake, half done with a Greek mix of oregano, mint, cinnamon, etc. Greek was the winner.
Big hot ciabatta sandwiches with sliced chicken, mayo, cheeses and thin sliced jalapeno tonight.

Chicken Dopiaza (a curry with a lot of onions in it) and blowtorch naan bread. With a coriander garnish just to keep Skip King happy smiley

We've switched our allegiance from Heinz to Branston. What's your go-to on Gourmet Night ?

To all across the pond………I’m assuming your canned beans are lighter in flavor and probably not as sweet as our canned baked beans. We have so many flavors and options of “baked beans” but I lean toward the Boston style baked beans. Bush brand Boston beans are pretty damn tasty and make great Beanie Weenie !!!

I'm not tough enough to eat baked beans straight. They are an ingredient that goes in on top of lots of fine dice fried onion, garlic powder, Tabasco green and a generous drool of Crosby's Fancy* Molasses. THEN, onto the toast.
* supposed to be made from straight sugar cane, not corn or beet.

Mary pan fried a pair of pork chops, side of potatoes. carrots, and parsnips.

Our garden is about done with tomatoes for the year, so we shared a store-bought.
