In the Film Game....
Austin.....you need to EDIT your post and mention that players can use a "wild card" at any time.
This is when a player takes an actor or actress from that movie, and uses it another movie.
Example:
Cable Guy
The next player would say:
wild card- Jim Carrey
The Mask
EDIT- Thanks for adding that, Austin!

good idea Dennis. I'm just not a big fan of change, and I've even read and understood 'Who Moved My Cheese'

Enter Your Completely Pointless Comment Here "game":
This one isn't acatually a game. It got shuffled into this forum by worried moderators concerned about the sanctity of the "non-banjo-related" forum.
This game started as a blatant "post ho" attempt by a member who's been around long enough to know better, and the fact that it has continued to grow and prosper should be construed as an empirical proof of the Law of Unintended Consequences.
There are but two rules. First, it's about pointless comments, not dumb questions, so make sure that you comply with that.
The second rule is to make your comment pointless. Bonus points for amusing non-sequiturs are awarded - but news of same is not shared with those who've earned them.
Jaminbanjo, in that I've made numerous attempts to kill this thread and it Will Not Die. I submit that you should edit your rules sticky accordingly.
The Four Letter Word Game
There seems to be no rules for this game. The rules were explained in the first post of the game:
Rules are simple:
Change the current word into a new word by changing one letter only.
You cannot rearrange, add or remove letters.
I select a word with four letters, and all other word has to be four letters.
Don't repeat word that already is on the same page.
Name That Tune!
Premise: You post a lyric from a song (in a quote box), We try to guess name of song, artist, and cd the song is on. if you want maybe post a little more of the lyrics.
Rules: KEEP IT CLEAN if you know the song has bad words or bad content don't use it. You can use Google. The next song is to be posted by the one who found the previous song. No new song until the previous one has been identified.

The 'IS TO' Game
'Is to' game rules a variation on the ongoing word association game, simple enough,
could be little testing though, follow along in reply using a two line literary associated sentence, see the two examples
Cat is to milk
as milk is to cow
------------------------------------
Cow is to field
as field is to play

Scrabble Game.
Easily played, the posting of jumbled up letters, gamers must unscramble the presented set of jumbled up letters to find the hidden word set by the poster, *there actually could be a different word hidden and not noticed by the original poster,* the “word solver” then sets another jumbled up letter word, standard dictionary or 'Webster's new world dictionary' is useful or even an 'Electronic puzzle solver', if there are any players of the ‘REAL’ game then best to follow ‘Bowdlerize’ principles, in reference to the Official scrabble players dictionary, I mention this only by way of saying to keep this game in good standing, and to leave out any words considered improper or offensive, as a note, having words of say nine or more letters can be more difficult to solve,…however, lets us see how this game unfolds…please check your jumbled letters carefully,..its acceptable to place a clue/hint at the side of the 'jumbled up' letter word......
Rules
1. Abbreviated letters as similar are allowed such as MRSA this stands for "Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus"
2. There could be a different word or an abbreviation not noticed by the original poster. This other word or abbreviation is acceptable.
Here are a couple of starter examples:
onbaj
answer: Banjo
New: utrecmpo
answer: computer
