Heard this rabbit song on the Bill Dillof CD (Dillof, Rice & the Cuyahogians). I just fell in love with it, learned it and here it is in gDGDE. The song originally titled "Big Eyed Rabbit" was from a Samantha Bumgarner 78 rpm recording.

In my overarching passion for chicken tunes, I allow I may have completely overlooked the critical contribution made by rabbit tunes. They have a rollicking, thumpy character not found in chicken picking. This will require some further study.
Real nice picking, I would call it pre-birkenstock old timey. Felt like Hobart Smith was sitting here in the room with me.
