Buffalo Gals was the first song I learned on the banjo. It was a much simpler version than yours but I love your arrangement!! Very well done Steve.

Thanks,John.It's fun to play around with simple songs.I played this essentially the same way for a friend a few weeks ago and he said "that was nice,what was it?" I told him and he laughed and said"Oh,yeah!"

Thanks...The tonering is a Cox Kentucky 5 fitted by Jimmy Cox to a Cox walnut rim.
This banjo was only 3 months when I recorded B'Gals
The strings are 11 12 15 22br 11 ghs.

Wow, for some reason the sound was almost a whisper even though I had the volume up all the way! Weird... a quiet banjo!

Buffalo Gals was done on the new Cox.
The others were done on the tb2 conversion.
Both have Jones pickups,but sound different from each other.
