This is a recording from July 2013 of the old folk tune "Froggie Went A-Courtin' by Adam Hill (guitar and vocals) and Chris Gainey (banjo). This performance begins as a more-or-less straightforward interpretation of the tune. This is followed in subsequent verses, however, by a few tweaks of the harmonic progression to include a number of interpolated chords not normally used in support of this familiar and simple tune. Enjoy!
