Hey! This is spot on the way Brad Leftrich did it at Midwest Banjo Camp last summer. I really liked that version.

Very, very nice, Randy. Dock Boggs' Folkways version was one of the very first old-time banjo tunes I heard, as a high school student in the late 60s, and yours is every bit as beautiful. D
Do you have any particular set-up or strings on your banjo, or are you playing a different instrument from the one in your photo? Judging from the photo, I wasn't expecting that good, plunky tone.

Bart, The banjo I am playing in the song is one I assembled myself -- a maple Goldtone neck, maple ring with a white ladye tone ring from StewMac and regular strings. Thanks for the nice comments. I need all the encouragement I can get!
