Based on Curt Bouterse's version on Down the Road I'll Go. I am working on upgrading my recording standards. But it is tough -- it seems like the more I try the worse it sounds. Recording Engineer is as much of an art as playing the instrument! But this came out OK. Also check my tabs if you want to give it a try.

Picked this one up from a banjo player at Mystic Seaport -- playing a nice old banjo and wearing a period sailor suit -- so you know it must be authentic.

For the real deal check out Dubl Handi's version from their latest recording, Up Like the Clouds at www.reverbnation.com/dublhandi . The song was featured in the Fall edition of Sing Out! magazine. This is recorded for my little cousin Lewella up in Maine. The banjo is in standard G with the capo on the 5th fret -- no retuning of the 5th string.
