I don't remember where I first heard Julianne Johnson but I've been playing it for a long time. Somewhere along the way I stole some bits from Dan Levenson but they probably sound different done in 2-finger style so maybe he won't know! That's Tish on the guitar. Solid ain't she!? 2-finger style in double D tuning

I've been waiting a long time to hear you pick, and it was worth the wait.  Terrific, nice and smooth, crystal clear.  Wonderful job.

Wow. I was going to follow that up with insightful comments about how incredible that was, but I think I will stick with my first response.

Wow.

Very nice, Chip.  A great tune well-played.  There will be more people playing two-finger style after hearing some of your tunes.

Another great one, Chip!

I don't think I ever heard this tune before, but I may have to steal it.  Good job, Tish!  You're lucky to have her, Chip.  Nobody in my entire family plays anything.  I have to dub my own guitar stuff in.  Thanks for sharing.

I agree with all that has been said above, I have an old LP of Emmit Lundy playing it, from a field recording back in the late 40's.  I think that may be the first recording of the tune.. don't know for sure.

This is one of my favorite tunes Chip.  I've never heard it played with 2-finger..but it sounds awesome.  Love it even more now.
