Finished composing this tune recently so I thought I’d post it. I added a second banjo track as backup and also a guitar track to get a little base going. Still trying to figure out Audacity, mixing, all of that stuff so it’s not as clear as I’d hoped. In Standard G tuning (gDGBD)

Yeah Rick, this tune really shows off your creative abilty for sure...The Chrs has alotta flowing EMO just like I LIKE! and the Bridge has some great chords in use for a killer contrast. It so naturally found its way back to the Chrs. You can tell its from the heart ! Honestly, a great piece of work.

Excellent performance, sounds to me like you've figured out Audacity pretty well!

Thanks Kevin. Don't know about Audacity. Right now if something comes out sounding OK I thinks it's more luck than anything. I'll be trying to learn more about it as I try additional recordings.

Since i used to play guitar... way back when... i may just have to get me one and do some of this multitrack stuff cuz' ain't gots nobody to pick w/me here.
Anyway... a pretty tune and "flowing" was exactly the the term i would use... but i see... as per usual, The Kidd, has usurped it fer hisself. Nice!

Thanks Ken. Yeah, sometimes I think adding some guitar in the background helps settle the tune and make it fuller. For some reason I was just arpeggiating the chords up the neck on the banjo as I was listening to the melody track and I thought it added to the flavor on this one so I threw that in there too.

Love the waltzes. Just something special about them, can't put my finger on it. Very nice.
