The studio (run by Billy Oskay) was actually a few miles outside Portland, and the band (put together for the studio project) was called "The Smokey Mountain Band", which isn't altogether inappropriate since Portland is close to several active and "dormant" volcanoes.

That's another good tune done with some well thought out licks and runs. You need to move down to Central Florida and get out of that cold weather.....while you're here,,teach me some of those licks.

Cherokee Shuffle is one of my favorites tunes, especially when it's done well. And you did it well. Great job!

Late to the game on this upload... That is one great Cherokee Shuffle. You've inspired me. I've been needing to add it to my playlist and I'm going to learn it today. Thanks

Fantastic. Best version I have ever heard! Very Munde-esque. Great bounce, melody and imagination. All played to perfection. I intend to steal/borrow as much of this as I can for the next local jam. Thanks for posting it.

awesome. i love it when i get bored with a tune and lose interest and then i hear something like this and it breathes life into it again. that some great picking and great technique. you are doing some difficult stuff in there but it sounds so appropriate and effortless, the mark of a great musician imo.

One fine player..!! I'm running a thread on who has the most 'Likes' on a tune and we think you're leading here Peter, and deservedly so.
Best wishes...David
