My 1981 Rosewood Jugg I with CAST TONE RING. You may not think so from this recording, but this banjo has an incredible full, yet cutting sound. It has a *vintage* Ludwig head tuned to G/G#. Not to mention the thin Kat Eyz bridge.

Dan, sounds fantastic. Curios how the sound of this recording with the vintage ludwig head sounds compared to the AMB head you have on it now? Any new recordings to compare?
thanks- Tommy
