Adam Hurt on fiddle, Beth Hartness on guitar, and Steve Arkin on banjo playing Folding Down the Sheets. I (Steve) was using a "generic" 3-finger style--not bluegrass/not old-time.

Steve, as always, I love the style you call "generic" 3-finger. In a way, I am sad this straightforward 3 finger roll style is not "generic" any more. It used to be called ....drum roll..."banjo picking!"

Thanks Gail--it's mutual! I guess the use of the term "generic 3-finger style" is technically a retronym (a word or phrase that we used to not need until it was supplanted by new developments).

Really fine picking, Steve. I don't know, sure sounds old-timey to me.
