Genre: Old Time / Playing Style: Clawhammer and Old-Time

Wild Thursday night jam at the Krack Fiddle Shop tent during a torrential rain storm most of the time we were at it. Jake Krack - fiddle, Todd Clewell - guitar, Bob Buckingham - high (normal tuned) banjo, me (Glenn Carson) octave low banjo, Mike Bing - mandolin, Amy Buckingham - bass. Don't know the other guitar players name that came with Mike, and later several other folks joined, including Jane Rothfield (fiddle) and Dave Kiputh (banjo). This was a great jam, and one I won't forget. If you listen hard, you can pick out the two banjos, some rain on the roof, and on this one Jake's dog is barking and folks shouting and others dancing.

I like how the mic must have been closer to the banjo player and you can really hear that nice banjo playing clearly ....

ok fiddles, take a backseat !

FEO, I had my mini disc recorder right under my chair and I was sitting next to my buddy Bob the other banjo player. Mainly tried to keep it out of the mud! I was playing the low banjo and he played the high one, we were pretty much in line with each other with our playing and the two banjos worked good together. We had a ball that night.
