That is amazing Paddy. Did you do that?

Thanks, John. Yep, I threw that together today and ran it through our embroidery machine. The banjo tab was a little tedious, but I thought it was a cool touch, what with cabbage being food AND a song and all.

Paddy, I think it is great you can do something on a embroidery machine. Anythiing you are willing to produce, count me in for and apron. I would just make sure that it is a "Man" size apron. I like a white one for sure. Will have to buy another bucket of oxyclean, though. I wonder if we need Eric's blessing, or would likely need to cut Eric in for his %...? Brad

I have sent an email to Eric asking if I have just infringed on his copyright. I'll let you know what he says.

Just heard from Eric. He is "totally cool" with the idea and has given his blessing to make all the aprons I want.

The apron design could be our avatar??? Brad
If this happens should you run this in the non-banjo forum to draw more buyers?
I can't wait to get the smell of smoke on one, and a couple of bbq sauce stains on it. :-)

I'll be pricing fabric and coming out with a firm price this evening. I can make them in broadcloth, cotton utility or denim, successively increasing in price, but only by a couple bucks. I already have the pattern, as I've made my own aprons for quite some time. I'll let y'all know what I've come up with. I'm thinking of sticking with a red, white and blue scheme. Red and blue stitching on white fabric, red and white stitching on blue fabric and blu and white stitching on red fabric.

How does the rayon stitching hold up to serious washing? Since I wear demin pants (jeans), demin on demin just ain't cool. So 70's, eh. White cotton seems more organic-like bbq on a wood smoke. I would prefer the stitching material to fade with time, like my hair is doing, but I ain't doin the stitchin. Good work, Keep us posted. Brad

Brad, the fabric will wear out before the stitching does.
