Hope nobody takes offence at the flag. We have friends who are westerners and we bought the flag at a western festival. I love it. The allotment lads think I`m quite crazy.

I'm not really sure what an "allotment" is but it must be interesting to cruise by in your Vauxhall and see the "Stars and Bars" flapping in the breeze. Some really serious folks over here may even get one tatooed on various body parts. (Arms, chest, back.)
Hey! Is an allotment a small place where you can grow stuff?

Stringbeaner, its a peice of land ( mine`s 30foot by 90 foot ) rented from the council, to grow fruit, flowers and veg or keep pigeons or chickens. I pay £25 a year ( $50 ). Its great because its right outside my house. I did get a few odd remarks when I first put the flag up but now they are quite used to seeing me sitting under it playing my banjo. They just think I`m mad.

HA! I love it... it just adds a little atmosphere for the dulcet tones you produce with your banjo while serenading the veggies.
