Nice bold engraving. Consalvi's strokes are almost always wedge-shaped,
as the V-tip cut deeper into the pearl -- and this shows some of that.

Thanks Ed, I need to experiment with using a chasing hammer. I'm also convinced that a lot of the old Vega work was done with a flat graver to get those lines that widen and then narrow again.
