A festival in the Northwest ca. 1971. The Youngbloods did about a three hour set and in the middle we broke it down to acoustic. And in the middle of that it was just me and my old banjo playing Interlude for about 35,000 appreciative hippies. Them's wuz the days alright.

Love this shot! That's how I remember you, even though I wasn't there. But as a huge Youngbloods fan back then, I do still have the "Rock Festival" album, and "Interlude" (for me) is the best song on it. Love the hair -- and you still have yours, you bum!
