This is what happens when you use a very tall bridge, with medium crown head, using the worthless screw in the back. This one came off a recent Vega repair. The owner had the Presto cranked all the way to the tension hoop and the screw run all the way in. This is the best recipe to break a Presto. Unfortunately this was a prewar model, so he's out about 150-200 dollars.
