Those are dangerous boots. I bought them a few years ago from Sundance catalog. They were shown with a 1946 vintage Indian motorcycle that Robert Redford had for sale then.
When my husband saw the picture and found out I had ordered the boots--he went out the next day and bought a new Vulcan 900. It is the modern bike that is styled after the old Indians. Sheesh--buy boots like this at your own risk. :)

Yea those boots look good. But that banjo is really something else. Every home should have at least one. But seriously Mary, Your daughter looks just like you, and so thin. I didn't know she plays the banjo.

Your Friend,
John

John--you know I love you :) I've been on the flat belly diet for 3 weeks and have only lost 8 lbs so far--but some of it actually came off my belly. LOL :) You obviously have not seen a photo of my daughter, Natalie--she is young and beautiful--very athletic, artistic, and sophisticated--not a country bumpkin like me :)
Look close at the pix--I am wearing my anticque brass Bowlin banjo wrench necklace. A young man in the park downtown designed and made it for me--most of it is oyster shell and brass beads. :)

The picture certainly does make look the Golden Girl part. When do we get to hear you play it?

There are quite a few you tubes up of me playing the Bowlin. I also play it on 3 tracks on my new cd, Girl With the Banjo Tattoo & on John Bowlin's Groundhog Strut on my Drumming On the Edge of Banjo cd. You can also listen for free on Pandora :)

I got a pair of boots like those! I'm not kinky, mine are tree climbing boots with the spike in the heel to climb trunks for tree work

I`ve never heard of the flat belly diet but it works a treat. You look great. I had to check the date. I thought it was an old `photo.

Thanks Sandra--I've now lost 10 lbs this month and hoping to lose another 10 before Christmas. The flat belly diet seems to work for me because it is easy to prepare and it seems to be pretty balanced and healthy--what I really like--is my belly is receding. LOL :)
Yes, that pix was taken last week--but my facialist deserves some credit too--she has been working on my skin--and I finally went in and had the spider veins removed from my legs and it turned out very nice--so I may actually be wearing a swimsuit at the beach this summer. :)
