I just posted a review of Mike’s Banjo Mute which I have been using for several months and works well. I mentioned in the review that although the sound of the banjo is different and has more sustain / less decay, I still like the tones it produces and the tune I’m posting just kind of almost wrote itself as I was practicing. It needed a name so the obvious one stood out – Muted Melody. Hope you like it and it gives you an idea of how the mute affects the sound. In Standard G tuning (gDGBD)

Thought I'd post a 3 finger original tune instead of a CH for a change. Named after the iconic NJ breakfast sandwich. Composed many years ago, I made this rough recording around 2016 and added a guitar track today to help hide, with little success, the mediocre banjo picking. Happy Independence holiday everyone.
