Been working on a couple of new fingerpicked tunes. Here's one of them, a bit off the beaten path. In Double C.

Rick - your posts are rare - and so is the journey of that tune - it sets a nice mood with mountain Celtic tinges...it would be good to hear more rambles!

Almost classical guitar like. Very interesting and pretty.

Dreamscapes... introspective stuff Rick... got some really nice melodic runs.

Thanks Jimi; maybe another next week. Rick, thanks. I listed it as Scruggs style but it's really fingerstyle; there's just no category for that other than "Other". Doug, thanks again. Ken, funny you should use the Dreamscapes word. My original instinct was to title it RĂªve (French for Dream). Decided on Ramble which also fits. Thanks.

A delightfully contemplative piece, rick, and beautifully played.

Thanks for giving it a listen Debs and for your kind words.

Exquisite, clean playing--as always. I love how the progression is liquid and unpredictable, but always spot on. This tune ventures into Frailblazer territory (high praise).

That is extremely high praise Robert, undeserved, but I appreciate the kind words nonetheless.
