Played on my 1964 Frank Proffitt banjo. It sounds best in the winter when the head is tight because humidity is low inside the house. f#BEAD tuning.

A medley of tunes I played at my Mother's funeral service last month. Includes Sally in the Garden, The Boatman, and a tune I made up over the decades which I am calling a Tune for Marion. This is played on a David Sleeter banjo. It is the best banjo I have ever played, but it does weigh a ton. The pot is made of very heavy metal, maybe chrome-plated brass, but I'm not sure.

Scott Holmen on banjo and lead vocals, Eric Prust on fiddle and harmony vocals. FYI the banjo I am playing was made by Eric Prust... Recorded separately with a safe social distance of about 20 miles.

Oh Death played on my new cello banjo. Recorded on a Tascam DP-004. No effects added. Amazing tones and undertones... only played the cello banjo for a few hours so far so I'm still learning its likes and dislikes. On a fun scale of 1 to 10 its an easy 11.

CH slide banjo inspired by Handsup8's Travelin' Riverside Blues. An old Blind Lemon Jefferson tune. Played on my Harrison mountain banjo with a glass slide. This is a work in progress with lovebird accompanyment (his name is Rainbow). I plan to work on it some more and then add vocals...

From one the 2013 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes Band Labs - thanks to Riley Baugus for helping facilitate this one... 6 banjos, 4 fiddles, 2 guitars, a bass, and three afternoons of practice. I'm one of the banjos, playing my A-scale Hicker bubinga pot parts banjo.
