A medley of tunes I played at my Mother's funeral service last month. Includes Sally in the Garden, The Boatman, and a tune I made up over the decades which I am calling a Tune for Marion. This is played on a David Sleeter banjo. It is the best banjo I have ever played, but it does weigh a ton. The pot is made of very heavy metal, maybe chrome-plated brass, but I'm not sure.

It's wonderful that you could perform for your Mother and family.
I am going through the same situation with my Mom and I understand your heartache.
Take Care, and Keep on Picking.

Thanks - there seem to be several of us going though similar problems. I saw "Frailin's" blog update about him and his son playing for his mom who has Alheimer's on Christmas.
My mom never lost her love of music.
