Here's a blast from the past. This is a recording I did back when I was 19. I recorded it in my closet on an old Tascam multitrack cassette recorder. Nothing has really changed...I am still recording in a closet 15 years later!! The sound quality isn't the best but it is pretty neat to hear what I sounded like so long ago! Not bad for a snot nosed kid if I do say so myself! Jason Skinner- banjo, guitar

An old classic recorded by Reno and Smiley both on guitars. I always loved Don's guitar breaks on this song. My version is basically the same as theirs except I decided to do twin guitars on the breaks. Jason Skinner- guitar, vocals Zayn Skinner- mandolin and bass

Here's a clip of me and my good friend Jeremy Stephens playing some twin banjos on Follow The Leader at the 2009 Banjothon. We play twin banjo all the way through. Jeremy is playing the harmony parts (which was really hard because I kept changing the way we rehearsed it!! Sorry Jeremy!) The banjo I am playing is Mike Johnson's 1937 RB12. It is the best banjo I have ever heard. Jeremy is playing a prewar Recording King.
