I learned how to play banjo in this style from wearing out any CD or video I had of Bobby Lundy. This break is straight from a live show that I saw them play some time ago. Thankfully they decided to record this Marty Robbins song. This cut just has my RB-75 in it.

I tried to use the C7th bend, and I pushed it right out of tune!! Things like that happen.

Vassar Clements tune, done out of D minor. Play it with an open neck and power it!
This was our second take on stage for the weekend...our Friday night set had this tune in it, and it was TWICE as good as this version. Anyways, I'm still proud of this one.

This tune is an old Kenny Baker / Bill Monroe standard. I learned my break from a Mike Scott album. I remember staying up till morning trying to get the notes right!! This cut features the Gibson RB-75, and a 1790's German violin.

This is a tune that Laura and I learned from Bobby & TJ Lundy of Bob Paisley (now Danny Paisley) & The Southern Grass. My first break is cut straight from an old video I have of Bob's band layin' it down. Thanks Mr. Lundy!! This cut features the RB-75 and the 1790's German violin.
