This is an ancient hymn from the 14th century done in the style of one of my favorite Christian artist, John Michael Talbot.

I think of the "Parting Glass" and my too brief friendship with Tommy Makem when I sing this to close my gigs.

First C&W song I ever purposely set out to write. I had just got back from a trip cross country, something like 1965.

Myself with 12 other very close strings. This tune became an earworm.

This is a song that I wrote in under 10 minutes. Sometimes they come like that.

A tribute to an artist I consider one of the best topical writers of his day. Phil Ochs. Tom Paxton also has written a "homage" to his friend with the same title. My friend the recording engineer left the part in where I sucked air and cleared my throat. He thought it would be funny.

Written after Locke vs Locke. About 1982. The only car I had was equipped with an AM radio and it only got one oldies station.
