I tried this after watching clifton Hicks Darlin Cora on youtube. I have no idea what I am doing really, so any advice would be totally appreciated. I have been trying to learn banjo by myself and from ear for about a year now.

Any music teachers out there have any advice to offer on how to improve? I am particularly fond of minutes 5:25 off and on till the end? I would like to sound like that usually, but better, obviously. Any tips?

Hey folks! I have been learning Banjo for about a year now with the end goal of having an extension of myself with which to express myself fully in ways that words cannot. In other words, I want to speak fluently through my banjo. I am entirely self taught, but have had a deep passion for folk music around the world my entire life, and a special place in my heart for Appalachian folk music. I am posting this here with the hope that you guys would offer me any advice, any criticisms, literally anything at all that you think may help me out. Don't hold back guys.
