My first "official" attempt at recording myself playing this nice little song. My wife is cutting vegetables in the background, hence the noise. I struggle a bit in the second part, but I plan to include this one in my personal repertoire so it should only get better with time.

Cripple Creek. Me playing the banjo. Me also playing percussion. I just wanted to find out if it would work or not. I'm not dissatisfied, but I think that the percussion might be a bit too loud. I'll probably try experimenting with this again in the future.

This isn't my definitive version of Darlin' Cora. I'm still working on it. Based on a version taught by John Haywood, who in turn learned it from George Gibson. As far as I know, George picked up his version from Mal Gibson, his father.
