My Instruments:
I've been playing guitar for 16 years. I also have played drums but haven't played anything more than a djembe in recent years. I've also fool around a little with the upright bass and mountain dulcimer. I come from a musical family, dad used to own a local music store, and we even had a bluegrass/gospel family band at one time.

Howdy, I'm Chris! I'm new to the whole banjo thing. I've actually been thinking for a while now that I want to learn banjo and now I've been bitten by the bug. I can't stop looking through the forums on this site and exploring either sites and players, checking out Youtube, etc. I can''t wait to get a banjo and actually get started. Right now I recently graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with my Masters in Library & Information Science. I enjoy playing and listening to great music, reading interesting books (particularly American history, my undegrad major), gardening, yard work, etc. If I never make it as a librarian I reckon' I'd make a pretty good farmer as well!
