A lifelong musician starting in 1963 on violin, then progressing to other instruments. I'm a performing banjo player and teacher, professional bagpiper, performing throughout New England. Currently I spend most of my time teaching beginner workshops and private lessons in and around Augusta, Maine, while performing as a solo player at fairs, coffee shops, restaurants, living history centers, and private shows. I feel it is more rewarding to teach beginners and watch them develop rather than trying to correct bad habits.
